I am returning from what has been a rather long break from Runescape. I feel poorly about not leaving a message here about my hiatus; oh well, not much can be done about that now.. I had intended on quitting Runescape for good. However there is a rather uncanny saying among Runescapers that goes along the lines of, "You can never quite quit Runescape for good. You always find your way back." I have found this saying to be true time and time again.
I am extremely excited to start playing Runescape again. Today I renewed my membership and logged on for a little bit and talked to some good friends who I missed during my break. During the short time I was on I noticed several small updates and tweaks that impressed me.
Perhaps one of the updates that excites me the most is not technically released yet. The "Adventure Log" is in beta form and was accidently leaked a few days ago. The Log contains several interesting stats about a Runescape player's career. One of the key stats is total time spent in game. I found that I have spent a total of 77 days and 13 hours playing runescape on my account. This number is about what I would have guessed, even so it is really cool to know exactly. Most of my friends have many more hours logged than me. Timothy Gold, an old clan mate, has a whopping 486 days logged in game. All in all I am filled with excitment to be back and I have BIG PLANS.
